My active lifestyle started at the age of 5 with a variety of sports. At 16 I started to take fitness more seriously and turned it in to a lifestyle. Honestly it was the best decision I've ever made.
With the fitness experience that I've had over the years and my National Academy of Sports Medicine certification, I am able to help clients effectively achieve their goal. This includes losing weight, gaining strength, being healthier overall, and other more specified goals.
One of the things I always tell people is that it does not matter where you start, it's how you finish and continue to be a better version of your previous self that matters. Being able to help guide and motivate someone to better themselves is why I chose fitness as my career.
I started her martial arts training with a simple cardio kickboxing class. From there I jumped into an all male sparring class, trained in Krav Maga, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and grounded my skills with Thai Chi. I wanted to work with a fitness trainer to increase my strength and shift my physique, however, after a horrific experience with a trainer who jumped into my sets, tried to date me, and paid more attention to his phone than my form, I cancelled the contract and set out to do my own research and train myself. I completed a national personal fitness trainer certification and have been helping clients avoid trainer horror stories and reach their fitness goals with fast, efficient, and healthy programs ever since.
I have now brought my nearly 15 years of experience and expertise to AZ Fitness Plus. I teach group classes, as well as offer one-on-one and semi-private strength and self defense training. I also provide nutrition consultations, meal planning, food log tracking, weight loss and metabolism boosting programs.

Todd Morrison is a former amateur boxer and current boxing coach and personal trainer. With over 21 years as a competitor and trainer, Todd has amassed a record of 37-8-3. Over the past 3 years Todd has transitioned his focus to personal training. He uses a variety of training methods including plyometrics, calisthenics, and traditional boxing. As a boxing, nutrition, and dietary specialist, Todd caters to a wide variety of clients. From experienced MMA fighters looking to improve striking, to young children looking to begin their career as an amateur.
